I have been practicing henna as a body art for the past 12 years. I use only the highest quality natural henna powder, mixing my own paste using cajeput and lavender essential oils. The safety of my henna paste and my ability to apply it have been certified by The International Certification for Natural Henna Arts.
A native of eastern Idaho, I have hennaed all across the Rockies; at music festivals, community events, health and wellness conventions, and my personal favorite... renaissance fairs and medieval reenactment society events. I've watched henna go from rare oddity to fashion-forward and it's been an honor to have been a part of its popularity rise here in the mountain states.
I have recently settled in the Salt Lake City, Utah area and much to my delight have found not only a concentration of many cultures where henna is a tradition, but also a local populace eager for a bit of the exotic. Henna body art is such a wonderful medium to educate about culture and history while simultaneously making people feel great about the skin they're in.
