Upcoming Events . . . and ramblings.

Malynda here, the latest techno-peasant to jump on the blog bandwagon. I don't like jumping, but I thought this would be a great way to keep our fans (all 3 of them) updated on future events.

Every year, our henna season begins earlier. 2007 is starting off with SCA stuff. Looks like feasts/court-thingies mostly, but hey! one of them is actually in Idaho! Ok, A LOT of them are in Idaho, in our own Barony, but the friendly folks of Cote du Ciel (north UT) have lured us away to the Land of the Unholy to merch events down there. I have to admit, I feel a bit guilty about driving 3 hours through our own Barony to set up down in UT, but whatteryagonnado. Also, the Idaho Henna Grrrls are going to Estrella! That's an 18 hour drive for us, so if you're in the neighborhood, stop in, pat us on the head, and drop some $$$ on henna so we can get home again! As ever, subversively whisper "The llama sent me", and we'll see what we can do about some discounts. I will also accept "mole" or "camel" if you have an aversion to the noble llama.

12th Night at Gryphon's Lair was a good time, pretty well organized and an excellent feast. All in all, a worth while event. Just a note about our upcoming calendar- we are not going to be at Farewell to Captain. A lack of organization and information on the part of the organizers made it just to much of a gamble, given the travel time and expense. Bummer, it had potential.
